The UPY team would like to thank everyone who entered this year’s competition. We are humbled that so many of you choose to support us, and through the UPY competition the wider diving community.

Face to face judging has been central to UPY’s way of operating and we know that entrants greatly appreciate the efforts we put into selecting our winners. Current COVID restrictions mean that for the 2022 contest the UPY judges will be meeting online, but we plan to be as thorough as always in evaluating every image we receive.

We anticipate that working online will slow the judging process, so please be patient, you can expect winning notifications to come a few days later this time. We intend to take all the time necessary to study the images properly and do not want to set a deadline for when winners will be notified.
