Nagy Eszter Fruzsina experimentális projektje a saját magunkról alkotott kép, valamint a testünkhöz kialakított egyéni, komplex, ugyanakkor folyamatosan változó viszony kialakulását illetve megélését helyezi központba. Sorozatában a téma vizsgálata reflektív, indirekt módon történik egy változókor előtt álló, gyermektelen, egyedülálló nő szemszögéből a modern társadalomban. A projekt elkészítése során létrejövő kollaboráció különlegessége, hogy egy olyan megélt tapasztalatra reflektál, ami egy másik ember kollektív pszichéjében megjelenő problémában gyökeredzik.
Események a Covid-19 idején: Szeretnénk, hogy ezen a nyilvános rendezvényen mindenki biztonságban érezze magát. Ezért kültéri megnyitót tervezünk, és kérjük, hogy a zárt kiállító helyen egyszerre maximum 5 fő tartózkodjon, maszkban, ügyelve a szükséges távolságtartásra. Kézfertőtlenítőt biztosítunk.

In this experimental project, artist and photographer Eszter Fruzsina Nagy is challenged to depict something she has never personally experienced. The photographer and her subject collaborate here to explore one woman’s conflicted relationship with her belly: as a pre-menopausal, childless, single woman in this day and age; is defiance or acceptance the answer? Focusing on this one physical aspect of her subject’s self-image, the artist facilitates a dialogue between her subject and her subject’s experiences and feelings related to concepts such as the ideal body, collectively constructed perceptions of self, social mirroring, and the resilience and fragility of the individual.
Events in the time of Covid-19: We want to keep this public event as safe as possible for everyone considering the current international pandemic.
Thus, we are planning an outdoor reception with rotating, limited-capacity entry (5 people at a time) into the downstairs exhibit space in order to maintain social distancing. We kindly ask all our guests to please bring a clean, protective face mask to wear when entering the gallery space.
Hand sanitizer will be available at the exhibit room entrance and at the refreshments table.
