Descubrimientos PHE is your chance to show your work to a committee of international experts, a challenge designed to help you make your way in the professional photography market. Descubrimientos PHE is also an opportunity to promote your work and receive advice from the participating specialists from diverse fields of photography, including curators, museum, gallery and art centre directors, editors of trade publications, directors of prestigious photography festivals and representatives of institutions linked to the medium.

The winner of the Festival’s portfolio review will receive the Descubrimientos Best Portfolio Prize: an exhibition in PHotoEspana 2006. Images from all finalists will be shown at a special projection session during the Festival, and for one year www.phedigital.com will host a microsite showing each finalist’s curriculum and images.
