2017-ben arra gondoltam, csinálok egy képet az ember és ember közti hatalmi viszonyokról.
2019-ben, mikor már majdnem befejeztem, ezt írtam: „A Testkép sorozat Szubordináció képeinek témája nem a megalázott ember, hanem a megfigyelő, vagy akár okozó állapota. A mód, ahogyan a tudat védekezik a látvány ellen.
És ahogyan a helyzet csapdájába esik, aki tanulmányozza azt. Bármilyen okból teszi is.”
2020-ban, mikor elkészült a Szubordináció című filmem is, arra gondoltam, méltó befejezése lesz ennek az amúgy is multimediálissá terebélyesedő munkának, ha azzal zárjuk le, hogy kiadjuk Syporca Whandal kapcsolódó zajzenéit lemezen.
2021. április 17-én pedig végre megjelenik a CD – jelen állás szerint a Szubordináció utolsó előtti részeként…

In 2017, I thought I’d make a picture about the power relations between humans.
In 2019, when I was almost done, I wrote, “The subject of the images of Subordination in the Body Image series is not the humiliated human, but the state of the observer, or even that of the perpetrator. It is the way conscience protects itself from such a sight.
And as the observer falls into the trap of the situation when studying it. Whatever the reason to be there.”
In 2020, when my film Subordination was made, I thought it would be a worthy conclusion to this already multimedia-expanding work if we ended up releasing Syporca Whandal’s related noise music on disc.
And on April 17, 2021, the album will finally be released – according to the present position as the penultimate part of the Subordination…
